There was no cake. There wasn't even the usual banter. And once the winners were announced, which included the winner of the TEASE, there was an awkward silence. That's to sum up our twenty-fifth week meeting.
But it wasn't for lack of good work. Mallika took the sword for her wonderful work for Australia. Had Aruna presented her concept for a banking client, she would have swept the sword for copy. But then she didn't make a submission. Good thing that, the boys would have sunk had it been a show of flower power this time, what with it being the twenty-fifth week and all...
We complete twenty-five weeks and the theme of this TEASE was 'Monday Morning Meeting, 183 days now'. It was supposed to be a poster. And look what Chella came up with! Mallika had an equally interesting piece. But Chella came up trumps because he had all the elements in place. (Hey, that sounded so school-marmish... had all elements in place...) But we all enjoyed doing it. And we'll be doing more of this fun stuff that's actually opening new doors for us.
If two nights’ before was party time, last night, same time the Visualiser's bay was full, with a copywriter thrown in for good measure. In case you are wondering who Tiny Jo there is effectively covering (read bullying), it's Chella.
We're twenty-five weeks old! So we went down to 'Kabul' to wine and dine though we were two short. Aruna and Ramya couldn't make it. You guys missed a good evening. Mallika had to put up with guy talk till she decided to make an early exit, stalled by the rain for a while though.
Psst! We'll actually be twenty-five weeks old, next week. But we didn't want to hold back this celebration that was long time coming. What will we do next week? Umm...
That’s Mallika with the sword there. She won it over Chella. Next week we complete twenty-five meetings. And next week we also announce the winning TEASE. We've had four entries so far. Guess next week will be buzz week. Any suggestions as to how we must celebrate Week 25?
Ok another *$#@* title. But hey, we suppose it’s the boredom setting in when it shouldn’t. Maybe it’s a good thing. The boredom means that we are ready to move on. We’re ready to raise the bar further. Question is how do we do it? Where do we go from here?
Rags and Tiny had an argument about it and look what happened. They wrestled and then Tiny scooped up Rags like he was a little pillow. But the question remained unanswered. Tiny has promised to batter up anyone who doesn’t come up with a suggestion by next week. So drop your suggestions here. Or shall we call Tiny…
